Arnold Palmer's personal goal is to develop young golfers fundamentally, physically and mentally, and we accomplish this at Saddlebrook Preparatory School. Junior golfers come to Saddlebrook Prep to help achieve their goals of playing on the pro tour, receiving a Division I NCAA scholarship, or developing the techniques to become a quality golfer while building integrity and character. Students in grades 2-12 now have a program which immerses them totally in golf and academic training. This unique school combines a full time, accredited college preparatory education with instruction from Arnold Palmer Golf Academy professionals. The performance-based curriculum is tailored to each individual student, who receives 5 hours of classroom study and 4 1/2 hours of golf and fitness daily.

With the strong Arnold Palmer tradition of excellence, there is no better environment in which young athletes can strive for the pinnacle of achievement in this sport. Low student to instructor ratios ensure that juniors will get the individualized instruction that they need to be successful. Young golfers learn how to practice effectively to get the most out of their training time. The amount of time spent each week on both of our 18 hole championship golf courses with an instructor will help develop the course management and mental skills necessary to compete in tournaments and have the confidence to succeed. Tournaments are emphasized, with students competing both individually and as a team in local and national events and in intramural competition at Saddlebrook and other fine golf courses in the Tampa Bay area. Instructors assist players in creating their tournament schedules and developing a ‘tournament resume’. Because everything is located on our property and within walking distance, there is more time spent practicing and playing golf. The juniors in our program have access to the practice facility and both golf courses anytime so they can work on their game during ‘off hours’ in the evening, on weekends and during school breaks. Parents can feel at ease knowing that their child is in a safe, gated community that offers all the facilities and amenities on property.
