Nestled along the Estero River, this championship course was designed by golf course architect Chip Powell and Senior PGA TOUR Player Mike Hill and offers an unforgettable playing experience.

Pelican Sound is both challenging and beautiful with its integration of established foliage and pristine lakes. Recognized as one of the area's premier courses, it has been chosen as the site for two Senior PGA Tour Qualifiers (1999 & 2000).

The first nine, called The River, gives players scenic glimpses of the Estero River. The second nine, called The Lakes, has a more traditional Florida look, as eight of the holes incorporate sparkling lakes in their design. Finally, the long-awaited third nine holes, called The Sound, creates a challenging experience for novice and pro golfers alike.

The unique location and geography of Pelican Sound prompted WCI to create a Pelican Sound Golf and River Club with an emphasis on the River too.
